1969 Cutlass Convertible
I have a history of buying a car, improving on it, enjoying it a few years and then moving on. I bought this car on this site 3 summers ago. One of the pictures below describes the car from the gentleman from whom I acquired it.
. I believe it was a fair representation of the car.
i have added the radial red lines from Coker, new top and rubber, the sport wheel, new springs, shocks and below dash gauges. My mechanics also installed new spark plugs and rewired the electric choke correctly. I also put a new A/C Delco battery in the car.
i still have the extra set of 15” Cragars along with like new 275/60/15 BF Goodrich WL and 2 brand new never mounted tires to match.
Very nice driver quality car. Cold a/c. Everything works although radio is quirky along with the power antenna.
i am set to retire next week. I have more than once said I am gonna just own 1 old car. I just sold my 69 442 4 speed car. I currently have 5. This one, a 1974 GMC Suburban, a 1976 GMC truck, a 1996 Ford F-150 and a 68 Vista Cruiser I purchased from a fine gentleman off this site. I spend a fortune keeping them up as I am truly “the most dangerous mechanic.” And do not work on them myself. I plan on keeping the wagon for life.
But I really am through. My sweet wife of 40 yrs has ALz which has advanced rapidly in the past 12 months. I simply cannot manage them all any longer.
The GMC and the 96 are both on the market as well. Depending how it all goes, the 76 will be next.
No sympathy requested...prayers yes! As we have been blessed beyond our wildest dreams...
Anyhow, it’s a nice little cruiser. Jams not painted.
Some of your Austin TX folks are familiar with it as it was there before coming to Brandon Mississippi.39047
21,500 for all of it. 20,000 if I remove the sport steering wheel and put the steering wheel that was on it when I bought it.

Hi Pops - I'm just curious wondering if this is the same vehicle. You don't see many Cutlass w/ that luggage rack. GL w/ the sale.

Wow! It clearly is the same car!
But has come a long way since this post! I did not purchase the car from him. I bought from the gentleman who must have acquired it from him. It has been repainted, pretty sure from the man I bought it from.
I meant to post my price is negotiable.
But thank you for this information.
