Up for sale is my unrestored and fully documented 1969 442 W30. I’ve had this car a little over a year. I purchased it from a Canadian board member and have since transferred the title to my name. The odometer reads nearly 53xxx miles and I believe it is accurate.
Paint/Body
57 Glade Green with a black vinyl top and 65 Topaz dual stripes on the hood. Typical rock chips on the hood and dings on the sides. Both bumpers need to be rechromed. Glass and stainless is in good condition considering its age. Lower fenders do have rust. Red fender skirts are a bit faded.
Interior
934 Gold bucket seats. Driver seat needs to be reconditioned as does the armrest. Seat backs are scratched. No cracks in the dash. Tic-Toc-Tac has been added and works. Wipers, radio lights and clock work. Carpet is decent but a bit worn and faded. Have floor mats but they are only so-so condition. Left quarter window trim droops a bit. Package tray in good condition.
Trunk
No rust that I can find. The fabric mat is well worn as is the weatherstripping. Complete spare tire and jack assembly.
Engine
The engine is quiet even with the big cam and doesn’t smoke. Has Gardner exhaust with no leaks. Plugs replaced and the original carb was overhauled. All of the rubber fuel lines have been replaced as was the fuel pump. I have retained the original pump. In line fuel filter added. The original water pump was rebuilt. Dipstick tube replaced. The engine compartment is clean and not a grease pit. Is it show condition? No but presentable. Added a couple of decals from Dr. Decal.
Transmission
I’ve only checked the fluid level and made a couple of adjustments to the shift rods. It shifts smooth as butter! No leaks.
Differential
No noise or leaks.
Brakes
In good condition and does not pull or vibrate when braking.
Wheels/tires
SS1 wheels are in good shape. The Goodyear Polyglas tires were replaced with 225/70r14 BFGs for a better ride and safety. The Goodyear tires stay with the car.
Overall, for a survivor, the car is in good shape. Could it be improved? Absolutely. My intention was to drive the car as is. However, my storage has been increased by 30% and I cannot justify paying that much money. The car is completely stock and numbers matching. Documentation includes GM of Canada, 2 broadcast cards, original POP, owners manual and warranty booklet. More pictures will be added. The car is located in St. Louis, Mo. Please contact me through PM.
Asking $65,000

Reason: A prior owner identified exhaust system. Added condition of seats.
I am so glad it is sold. I was very interested in this car when it was in Canada. I have been fighting back contacting you about it. You saved my marriage!
