Unfortunately everything that makes it a W30 is long gone. At least the red inner fenders look original and not repro.

It’s nice to see a 442 being sold for a reasonable price by a regular guy, instead of a dealership or “auction.”

I don't doubt it's a w-30, but one may spend another $10-20K getting the w-30 parts. And the wing...ug.. I guess there is a butt for every seat, but this one is not for my butt.

The fact that it has the clamps for the under bumper outside air scoops is pretty cool. Can't imagine someone would put those on there just for looks. Can't hate on this car. Well other than the 🤬ing wing.

So question for those in the know. Could you get a manual transmission W-30 with power brakes in 69?

NO However Owner states he just installed a new booster. That car may not have been born with one That appears to be a fairly priced car Has me thinking of flying out

You couldn't get power brakes with ANY W30 in the 1968-69 model years. Unlike later years, both MT and AT W30s got the same 328/328 cam in 1968-69. No vacuum, no power brakes, no A/C.

That's the way they should have built all W-30's - "No vacuum, no power brakes, no A/C." 1968-69 and 1972 model years got it right.

Joe, I missed any previous ad , what was the previous asking price ? And is there any validity to the claim of 2,477 1969 442 Sports Coupes ? My antique copy of "Supercars Unlimited" (copyright 1991) states 2,984 total.

The previous ask was $28,500.

Helen Early's numbers in Setting The Pace show the following 442 production for the 1969 model year:

4467 convertibles - 4,295
4477 Sport Coupes - 2,475
4487 Holiday Coupes - 19,587

If have seen much worse go for way more money. Sure pretty much any W car equipment is gone but looks to be a nice car. I personally have respect for honest sellers. 👍

Apparently, seller is no longer claiming it's a W-30.

How can it even be considered a "W-30 clone" when none of the W-30 equipment is on it. The stickers on the front fenders is the only "W-30" thing I can see.
