I have a nice driver quality 442 that i've owned since 1987. Unfortunately, my health is forcing me to get rid of it and find it a new home..
.030 over 400 rebuilt in 2004 with about 4500 miles
4 speed Muncie
3.23 posi 12 bolt
Changed to HEI
Vintage Air
Manual steering
Cosmetic restoration was done in 1998 but since then, I dented the driver's side rear quarter and made the repair .It will need paint. The car had the wrong bucket seats when I bought it. So it now has '72 buckets with the wrong seat covers. Car is black exterior with black interior. Located in Kerrville, Texas.
We'll be happy to send pictures to anyone that is interested. Or would entertain a phone call about this nice driver quality car. I would like to get about $15000, which would include all of the additional sheet metal and parts I have for the car. Thank you
Louis,
I have a picture showing your car parked next to my original paint Saddle Bronze '72. By the way, Someone from Corpus contacted me last month looking specifically for a 1969 442. I will dig up his info
.
.
Hey Ali,
Yessir, those were good times touring with everyone. If it was a guy named Goodman who contacted you, I sent him a text about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but heard nothing back. I will try to post some pics here this weekend.
Errgh. I need another car like I need a hole in the head. If I brought home anything else, my wife would give me many medical issues. Love that 69, especially with the 4 speed. If things were different, we'd be talking about this. GLWS.
Thanks, and I understand completely. I had been working on a custom '57 2 door sedan that we chopped 2-1/2", and did some other subtle body mods to. I am going to have to sell that one also, so if you know anyone who might be interested------
Price required in sales adds. How much are you asking should be listed.
"Edit" is the price $15K?
Saw that on a pick on the back window.
Thanks.

If anyone bothered to read the writeup, he said, and I quote- "I would like to get about $15000, which would include all of the additional sheet metal and parts I have for the car. Thank you"
Can't get any clearer to me about the asking price.
Thank you all for the good wishes. I sold the car to a long time Oldsmobile friend of mine and they love it!. I got the repaired area painted and everything put back together on it before it sold.
Ali, I left the plates with the car because I think they just go to together! I certainly enjoyed it while I had it ( since 1987) was super happy that you sold me those great YOM license plates, and super happy that my friend will now enjoy it and show it some love.

The new owner wants air but he thinks he is going to switch it to the factory air location setup from Vintage Air to clean up the hose routing in the engine compartment.
