1968 olds 442 rag top f/s ontario canada documented - not mine
I sold the owner of this car some cutlass parts last year and they have recently asked if I know anybody looking for a nice 442 rag top so I told them I will throw it on this board for them. Car is advertised locally by owner also.
I have only seen pictures but I was told it is a very solid car.
They have the original numbers matching 400 on a stand to go with it. There is a mildly built 455 in the car now. Automatic buckets car with newer interior done in original color. 1 repaint done before they bought it (acrylic enamel) and is older with some marks and scratches visible. The car has little to no bondo in it according to the owner it was a good solid that was repainted a different color. Documented GM Canada Paper work this is a Real 442 and they are only the 2nd owners since new! They have had it for I around 13 years and would love to see it go to another olds person if anyone has interest. With fresh paint it would be very nice car but right now it is a very nice 442 driver. Cars color is suppose to be Jade Green on gold and gold top. The top was done in white but has tear and the body color was changed to a gm green from late 60's I believe. They are Asking $22K US.
I have info on car or can put you in touch with Owners. Located outside of Toronto.

Info update
Hi Everybody,
Here is some additional info from the owners regarding this original 442 that I want to share:
Car comes with built Olds 455 (Professionally Re-done in Nov 2010 with Receipts) has an Edlebrock Torquer Intake, Holley 780 Carb, Re-worked C Heads, Forged Pistons etc.
Original Numbers block engine on stand comes with car as well as a spare transmission. The trans in car is the #'s original.
Floors and Trunk Area all solid, Car has original body panels this car was well kept over the years and not subjected to typical Cdn Winters.
I have a copy of the original BILL OF SALE in PDF for viewing with options. Also the original keys are with car.
3:08 posi rearend.
Current Owners are the 2nd owners and have had it for the past 13 years.
Spent $3400 on redoing the interior to original colors etc a few years back.
Top is white with typical cut in rear (have pics) top color should be gold to match interior.
This is a great car and the current owners would love to see it go to another Olds enthusiast!

Thanks Guys It is a very decent, solid car with a great history (2 owners and bill of sale present) and the fact that it is #'s match is a big bonus. The GM of Canada Docs can be ordered on this car also which is an added bonus for more documentation.
The seller is motivated as they would like to purchase a new boat for the summer time so willing to work with a fair offer. They have enjoyed this car for the past 13 years with their family and it would be great to see another oldsmobile fan continue that journey.

Pics added
Here are a few more pictures. Car still for sale $22K US Price is Neg. as owners would like to sell it. This would be best for someone not too far away that can trailer the car home as the original engine and a spare trans come with car but are not installed just spares.
In November 2010 the current owners invested $2,700 in the 455 engine rebuild.
FYI:
The original 400 has the pistons, crank, fuel pump, rods, heads, and starter.
It needs: intake, carb, and distributor not included.
