1968 Cutlass S Convertible $6500
SOLD!
Hi Guys,
I bought a '68 442 Convertible this weekend...now I have to sell my cutlass convertible or the wife will be pissed.
One owner, ’68 cutlass convertible with ALL receipts from day one. Bench seat, black interior, ps, pb, manual windows, non AC. Body is excellent- one front fender has small rust area at bottom, rear quarter needs very small 2 inch patch at lower rear corner. Floors excellent, trunk (some scale). One cheap paint job done 20 years ago. Motor and trans believed original. 350 2bbl, AT. Dash is excellent, interior is dusty yet very good. Top is dried out yet frame is excellent- goes up and down well. Front seat upholstery is shot, door panels and back are good. Bumpers good—need minor straightTail lights good. All receipts from day 1, protecto plate, etc. all service receipts from original owner starting in ’68. Hood has issues – looks like someone walked on it- believe it’s very fixable…outer edges are excellent, fit is good, gaps are good. All stainless body trim in good shape. The rear quarter trim are excellent. No accidents, all sheet metal believed to be original, some old dent repairs, nothing significant. Frame is rock solid. Door corners are strong. Starts, drives yet brake hydraulics are weak…wouldn’t drive it.- slight exh. Manifold leak. Body gaps are excellent. Stock steel rims with good tires. I do have a set of Rallye II’s from ’71 car for the right price these can be included. Originally purchased in San Francisco, garage kept most of it’s life. I’ve had it in a covered barn for about 3 years (dusty yet dry). Will have pics later this week. Current pink slip in hand. Very clean project that runs and would take very little maintenance to be driver. Never smashed, never abused by teenager. Looks weathered yet very good project.
If interested send me a PM I'll get right back to you with contact info.

Looks like the muscle car market is waking up. posted on local Craigslist and had 20 guys call first day. After sitting for several months it wouldn't start, spiders had taken over the inside....First guy who looked didn't care if it was dead and paid full price.
I'll post pictures of my 442 Convertible when it arrives in my garage. Massive project yet lots of potential.
Thanks
