possible swap for 40-50's Ford; 55,56,57 Olds; 62 Corvette (dreaming....).

When composing a message on here, scroll down to "Manage Attachments," click on that, and, in the box that pops up, you can upload photos. Maximum of five per message, and the image files must be 100k or less in size.
Your question is one of the most commonly asked on this site, and you're among a large crowd of people who have a very legitimate gripe about the difficulty of uploading photos to this site. It's not that it's inherently difficult. It's rather that they make it much more confusing and obscure than it has to be.
For example, why doesn't this button that says "Manage Attachments" on it say "Upload Photos" instead? This change alone would probably clear up 90% of the confusion. Some of us might understand that "attachments" can include photos, but others might not. I understand that "attachments" can include things besides photos, like pdf files. But how often do people want to upload something like that compared to how often they want to upload photos?
This site and others like it are among the most confusing in this regard, and there's no reason for it. A few simple changes could make it much more user-friendly.

What Allan did is very good. But I have two comments.
1. Allan is a user of this site, not an administrator, moderator, owner, or whatever. It should not have to fall to a user to provide instructions on how to do something as commonplace as uploading photos is.
2. Uploading photos is something so common that how to do so should be self-evident on every message-posting page. One should not have to hunt around on the site to find instructions.

I used Allan's post as it was a good step by step, since he wrote it he should get the credit. If you click on the "paperclip" at the top of the "Advanced Reply" page it takes you to the "Manage Attachments page". Also if you scroll down from the Advanced Reply portion, to "Additional Options" it clearly states Manage Attachments.

1966 Oldsmobile F85 Deluxe 2dr Hardtop Coupe.
No Bondo. Straight and beautiful body....no bullet holes....no whups.....no
dangs.....no dents.
floors, frame, quarter panels, trunk floor are solid.
original six banger; 250ci
Automatic, it is an AC car; altho I removed the AC stuff to replace the heater core.
Power Steering, non-power brakes.
all glass good. the steering center link was replaced last week.
runs and drives great; just went on a "whim" journey of some 600 miles
with no problems/difficulty/disruptions.
car originally had a Bench Seat (which I still have), now has 2 bucket seats.
rear seat upper has a "whups" about 18in in length; headliner has a "whups" about 4 inches or so.
"protect-o-plate" and original owner's manual.
tires good
Rocket on hood NOT original (well, it is original, but NOT to this car....)
this is a dumb dirtyword cotton=picking, nose-sucking finger-licking
solid ole car (wish I was.....)
Florida title in my name.
