1962 Jetfire

Here is a link to a 62 Jetfire for sale in Shreveport, LA. After you read the ad you will know as much about the car as I do.
Erick I thought about you as soon as I saw this. Car looks pretty decent but I have no idea if the price if fair or not.

That car has popped up for sale a few times over the past year. He has slowly started lowering the price but needs to come down more for someone to want it. It's not a bad car but still needs a major restoration. These cars rarely go for very much if they need restored. If it were 4 speed it would have sold the first time it was listed but there is only one factory 4 speed 62 known of at this time and I own it. Most people are not willing to restore one that is automatic but several people are willing to buy one done.

It could be red Joe. I thought the price was a little high. This car is only about 200 miles east of me.

My comment was based on the string of red Jetfires that showed up at Homecoming last year. Yeah, my friend Scott's convertible was blue, but Olds never made Jetfire convertibles; that car is what we call a "phantom".

Almost every time I drag one home it is red. My friends ask if they made them in any other color, lol. There are some really bad colors in 1962 that I don't like. I am just happy that my wife's and mine happen to be the same color because it makes her happy, lol. She loves the his, hers idea for the local car shows.
