truck bed coating
You might consider ordering a product from POR15. I believe Rob Young used POR15 to seal his floor pans. As I recall he was very happy with the results. In addition, I've used POR15 products before with top notch results.
I am going to the underside of the car next
It hs been undercoated before but iys peeling off everywhere...I am going to sand it down,,,use eastwood rust convertor on it and then give it a thick undercoating spray down

Use a spray in truck bed liner coating. It is way more impervious to rock chips, etc. It has a flexible base so will not come off, won't dry up and shrink like undercoat, and goes on much more uniformly than undercoating. It is also a breeze to touch up a repair spot. I used DupliColor on a couple cars and a truck bed and it worked great. Got it at Auto Zone, on sale.
