Removing wax from glass windows

The '77 Cutlass I bought this past year looks to have probably gone many times through car washes with automatic waxing applied.

When washing the windows with Windex I seem to be smearing it around and not getting it all off the window. It leaves some smears. I assume this is from the wax.

What is the best product or way to remove the smears?

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Ivory dish soap and water. Usually wash the whole car with it.

You can use Brillo with the red soap, and polish any glass with it, just not mirrors. The red soap is actually a jewelry polish, and cleans glass very nicely. Use lots of water. It also gives the Rain-X effect without the wipers jumping and chattering up and down. I use it on my Olds and every day cars.

Thanks guys. I think I will try the Ivory soap first. I bet Dawn soap might do it also.
