NOS Passenger Mirror Loose

Greetings All,
I have an issue that I cannot solve and could use help from the "collective".
72 Cutlass Convertible. I scored an NOS passenger mirror and the install went great. My issue is that the position of the mirror won't stay put. Like the ball and socket just loose enough that if it's bumped, or even after highway driving, it will move. I thought about using crazy glue on the ball socket but that seems to permanent. There's no method that I see to tighten the adjustment mechanism without doing something major.
Any ideas welcome.

Thanks

Do not use krazy/super glue.. If you do this, it will be VERY difficult to reverse. If you suspect that the set screw is working its way out, use some Low adhesion Loctite 242 thread lock. Or perhaps remove the mirror to check the set screw engagement. Maybe the set screw is not engaged into a set dimple.

One thing that would work is a drop of blue removable thread locker by Loctite or Permatex when your mirror is in the correct position. If you suspect there is some lubricant in the ball/socket, use Surface-Insensitive Thread Locker Blue by Permatex.

Wait to see if someone will reply with a better solution. (which Heath already did!)
