Resolved - WTHIRTY1

Text deleted. WTHIRTY1 was quick to address the issue when attention was called to it, and has refunded me the full amount.

Sorry the transaction didn't work out, but thanks for making things right.

That's unfortunate. You've been very patient. His last activity: Today 06:08 PM
I hope this ends well.

EDIT: Sometimes (this would be one of those times) it's a good idea to embed their member name since they'll get a PM their member name has been posted - WTHIRTY1

Thanks, as do I.

I do keep an eye on the Public Profile stats so I can see when he's had an opportunity to read and reply. No sense getting uptight if he hasn't been online since the last message was sent, and I do understand that life sometimes gets in the way of best intentions.!

Not sure what the deal is with the shipping but just getting back to town. I went ahead and refunded your money. I’ll try to be a hyper communicator in the future.

They did. I’ll have to stop at the box store and see what happened. It is easier to refund right away than risk you writing more slandering novels vilifying me on CO.

I have, and had no desire to vilify you. The lack of communication was unsettling, however.

If they show up on my end, you can expect payment in full for them, and acknowledgement of it here.

Jimmy is an upstanding and respected individual in the Olds community. Ive personally had many dealings with him and he's straight up to deal with. I'm glad to see you guys worked it out.

If the accounts that were written then deleted were true (I read it but didn't memorize every word), it's not libel/slander. I didn't read it as someone trying to villify anyone about it, just things the OP experienced during a transaction.

I can see how things might get concerning after two weeks of no contact, but this is why sellers should try to provide tracking numbers or any updates ASAP to the buyers to help ease the suspense while waiting.

That said, I've had personal transactions with Jimmy myself without issue, and wouldn't hesitate to do so in the future.

Breakdowns can and do occur sometimes, even to the best of them. It's how they're handled afterwards that makes the difference. Glad this one got resolved.

9x out of 10 its a shipper issue and I can attest to this having shipped thousands of items over the years. I've bought and sold with Jimmy and never an issue.
