70 Cutlass new mirror from OPGI

70 Cutlass new mirror from OPGI

My new mirror from OPGI won’t adjust to anywhere workable. Wont adjust. Any answers besides sending it back?

is your car a 70 ? Is the mirror listed for 70-72?

i know the 69s take a different mirror.

which mirror any link?

Said it is reproduced part and may need adjusting. Can’t adjust one end by 1/2 inch. Will send back. Part # is correct. Have to find an old one I guess.

Which mirror are you referring to, so others will know?
Sport mirror?
Standard mirror?
Visor vanity mirror?

The passenger side mirror ? Is it mounted in the correct location? Idk if it makes a difference but is it a post car?

I just read the 19 reviews of the l&r mirrors on Optus site ...of the 5 that specifically state rh mirror three state they had adj problems w it. One states 2 replacements later he got a good one one said he modified the lip on the mirror for more adjustment.

Tested in normal locations with body shop man. Didn’t install or drill holes . It’s a convertible.
