Not sure I have to say much. The below thread clearly states I want the intake and my friend will pick it up. seller even acknowledges such. Then for reasons still unknown he just gave it to someone else. No warning, no clear explanation, no "sorry, I messed up", nothing. I've been contacted by a few people after they read the thread and basically their opinion, it's a steaming pile of dung what he did.

Chris, just read this post and realized I'm the guy who got the intake. What happened was I saw the guy's post, and PM'ed him on Saturday night as to whether he had a '70 intake because a guy in our club is wanting to covert a '70 Bamboo Cutass S from 2V to 4V. (This car has been in the club in someway or another since 1986.) He responded to me on Monday morning telling me he had posted a pic of the intake on his post since he did not know what a 4V was. When I looked at the pic (since deleted) that it was a 70, I PM'ed him back to tell him I wanted it. He lives only 15 minutes from me, so I went and met him on Monday morning and bought the intake. I didn't know any of this backstory about you wanting it. If I hadn't already contacted the guy I got it for on Monday (I'm not profiting anything on this) I would have gladly given it to you. Sorry about all this.

Just so we can all understand the enormity of what happened, the guy is basically giving away parts and thru what appears to be a mixup gave away a part you said you wanted?

Is there some other portion of the story we don't see or know about?

 

I guess I owe you for not holding a ten dollar part for you and your friend. Ok. Anyone else selling an intake for $10? Anyone else selling anything for $10 on here? Has anyone ever sold me anything for $10 on here? I owe u nothing like you owe me. At the end of the day you lost.
