Hello. I received a pm from Turret. He told me he knew someone by the name Ricardo that had a part I needed. I reached out to the number I was given and the deal was too good to be true. I asked some questions and the answers didn’t make sense. Has anyone dealt with these people? Thank you.

 

Typical scammer profile. Recently joined the board, made the bare minimum posts to be able to send PMs and no substance to any of his posts. "Knows a guy" is a standard redirect. Run, don't walk away from these clowns.

 

Thank you so much. The area code to the number I was given was to Madison Mississippi. He told me he was located in Madison Wisconsin. I was trying to buy a ram air hood. He sent me a picture that could be found on a Google search. I asked him who manufactured the hood and he said GM. Plus what he was asking for the hood was beyond reasonable.

 

I moved your posts to their own thread instead of hijacking someone elses. I don't see a member named Turret listed anywhere on this site. If it were a pm, can you click on the red triangle with the exclamation point in the center and report the pm?
