Bought another Bravada

Two years ago I traded for a 2002 blue bravada with a broken front diff. It's been my low cost daily driver ever since. Today I bought an 03 silver Bravada that needs a motor. This one is low miles and no rust anywhere, new tires and brakes. If anyone has a line on a good used (and cheap) Vortec 4200, let me know. ~BOB

I like those SUVs. I have no clue why they are so cheap on Craigslist. They are tanks in the snow.

If you can find a Chevy Trailblazer 2000-2007, most had the 4.2 Vortech.

There is a truck club at carlisle called 'trailvoy' (play on 2 vehicles) that would have a line on the parts you need. trailvoy.com is their website
