63 cutlass disc brakes

Hello, and thanks in advance for any help! I am a brand new member here, and recently purchased a 63 Cutlass F85. I already have driveline and chassis planned and in progress with one BIG exception, Front brakes!!
I definately want to change over to 5 lug hubs, and disc brakes.
I would prefer to leave all of the original suspension in tact, and just update to discs since the rear is already updated to disc.
The only conversion I have been able to find still utilizes the orginal 4 lug drum hubs and some import car rotors, this is DEFINATELY not what I want as I intend to run 15 Olds rally rims, 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern.
Any help is appreciated! Glad to be a new member!
Jeff

Check out this website. This guy makes conversion kits for cars that use parts available at your local auto parts stores. I don't know what parts he would intend for you to use on your application but it might be worth looking into.

I can vouch for Mike. I have some "plans" for my blue Starfire, and he'll be the one I call for the front disc conversion.

I chatted with Mike today on the phone. He is a very helpful guy, and while he doesn't have any conversion parts for the 63 yet, is very open to helping develop this. We may have already figured out which rotors will fit the stock spindles, but I'll hold off announcing this until I trial fit them myself, and know for sure. After that is done, I will send my spindles to Mike, he will fab the caliper brackets, and save the design for anyone in the future that wants this conversion as well. Any other input is definately still welcome!!

Went there . they have somthing fora 63 f 85 for 125 $ but I have no idea what. no discription of what you are buying ??? I know the latter model corvair had 5 lug and here it is the same front end. but I still try to figire the back- rear end out. corvair had a trasaxel so can not use those axels. I do not even know what they call the f 85 rear end ?? it dose not look the same as a 8.2 chevelle but I wonder if a 65 chevelle 8.2 would bolt in it has the same type 4 link- 4 bar set up as a chevelle or newer lets say 66 cutlass but I have no Idea on width ,mount posisions ect...

Ok I whent back and under 61 to 63 tempest it gave instructions and a part list . it used 85 to 90 fleetwood ( cadalaic?)front rotor. the hub they where using was stock and already 5 lug.and the did machine work on it. so tempest either was 5 hole or they had corvair hubs. think we are getting close here that is good info gearhead thanks
