Parking Brake Cable Grommet
Parking Brake Cable Grommet
Good Sunday afternoon all,
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has posted advice on restoring these beautiful machines. I have learned so much from these pages and appreciate all the time and expertise of the participants.
I am in the process of installing a new Front Parking Brake Cable on my 1969 Cutlass S Convertible and have not been able to locate the Grommet that goes on the cable as it enters the Firewall. Can anyone provide some guidance on this?
Thank you for your help!
Leigh

You have me stumped. I've only ever known a Parking Brake which is applied to the rear brakes. There are two parking brake cables - one on driver (LH) side & one on passenger (RH) side. Might you be referring to the parking brake "wire" for the dash lamp? Sorry, not getting this one.
