hi, can anybody tell me if the booster for the delta 88 is the same as the starfire ,also is there any way of bench testing a booster , the part stores seem to have the power boosters listed for the delta 88, but starfire is not listed with it,thanks for any and all input ,will.

 

by the way ,it is a 65 starfire im talking about ,sorry.

 

The listings at http://rockauto.com don't show a booster for the Starfire and the Dynamic is listed and has several models shown that are the same when you click on it but no Starfire. It shows return and rebuild at the Cardone site for both of them. Somebody with a parts catalog could tell you for sure. There are ways to test the booster in the car, not sure about bench testing. Do an online search for brake booster testing and several pages come up for the in-car technique.

went to the cordone site ,found the boosters for the 65 olds 88, and i checked mine on the outside ,and it is identical in every way that i can see , went to napa auto, they say they have nothing listed for starfire ,and can,t tell me if the one for the delta is the same ,wonder should i just take chance with old one ,or order the one from cordone ,nice price there to. ok , thanks will.
