drum to disc with separate hub

drum to disc with separate hub

This might have been covered elsewhere but I could not find it. Here goes. 1967 442 that previous owner swapped one piece drum and hub for separate drum and hub. I am converting to disc with set up from a 1970 Cutlass. It has a one piece hub and rotor. Can I use the separate hub with a separate rotor I would assume with longer studs. I prefer the advantage of removing the rotor without disturbing the bearings. If so what rotor application do I get? These hubs are only a year old (so brand new) and would like to retain them also for the advantage. Parts I have The upper row is the drum set up off my car and the lower row is the disc set up.

Use the correct rotors for the spindles and calipers, which are the one-piece rotors. There are no "slip on" rotors for this application. The factory two piece rotors were held together by the pressed-in wheel studs anyway - the rotors didn't "slip off". And frankly, any time the rotors need to come off, you should repack the front wheel bearings anyway (if not more frequently).
