1984 Ninety Eight brake lines

Anyone know if there is a difference between 1982 and 1984 brake lines? 80-84 are the same body and are 119" wheel base and Inline tube offers a set for "1977-82" but after speaking with them by phone, the tech could not confirm or guarantee that it would fit my 1984. Thanks in advance.

1977-1984 Olds 98 and Delta 88 are the same car mechanically. The B/C body wagons (i.e. Olds Custom Cruiser, Buick Estate Wagon and Pontiac Safari) are the same all the way to 1990.

That being said, you should be fine ordering a brake line kit for a 1982 98 for your 1984 98. Even if it's for a Chevy Impala it should fit your 98. The difference is going to be in the wheelbase, as you mentioned. Make sure it's not a brake line kit for a station wagon or coupe and you should be fine.

BTW, that's a mighty fine automobile you've got there!

Thanks for the reply Olds 64. I'm fairly confident an 82 will work on my 84 also. If I don't get any objections I'll most likely get it soon. Luckily there is that available, I would not order anything else...the Delta 88 for example may be the same mechanically but the wheel base is 3 inches shorter. Thanks for the "mighty fine" compliment, she is a head turner for sure. That Ninety Eight of yours however makes me feel very nostalgic. Do you have more photos of it? Have you seen the photos of my Ninety Eight in medium sand gray firemist? 16k miles and in showroom condition.

I saw the other pics of your 98s in the gallery. Very cool indeed!
