Anyone know if the front and rear wheel cylinders are the same on a 69 vista cruiser. Autozone only have fronts and no listing for rears.

 

According to Rock Auto they are not.

I generally use Rock Auto to find the part numbers to cross to other brands. The prices are good, even when you figure shipping, but not many people want to wait 1-2 weeks anymore for parts.

RockAuto is not a reliable source of part fitment, however yes, the Vistas have larger rear brake shoes and larger wheel cylinders than to other Cutlii for the same year. Correct 1969 Vista rear cylinders are 1.0" bore.

 

I’ve changed course and got a rebuild kit, instead of a whole new wheel cylinder. Thanks for the info on the bore size
