Just bought a rebuild kit for my master cylinder and when I got home I notice that the rebulit kit is manufactured 04/26/2013! Is it safe to use a rebuilt kit that old?
(PRM 04/26/2013 It's that the date the rebuilt kit is manufactured?)

I would use it.

 

It will be fine. I have used them from the 60's before with zero trouble. As long as the rubber is not hard you are good.
