Care to add more?
I guess it is like my feelings of brass compression fittings, as they are expensive and almost always leak!
Nothing like a good ol' solder joint...

New Calipers, New hose, New lines, New Banjo bolts, New Copper washers.... 3 sets now, and the damn things won't seal.

Guess my next step is to exchange calipers.... again. They sandblast the damn things and don't do anything to the rings where the banjo bolt and copper washer is supposed to seal. Frustrating

Well, that kinda explains the issue - sounds like the rebuilder is messing them up. Maybe it is time to get a refund and buy a different brand.

BTW, I really like the color of your car!

This may be the problem. I've had several new banjo bolts that were slightly too long and thus did not seal properly. Did you compare them exactly to the originals?

Yes, New Copper washer, and yes, compared length.

Today will be testing when they bottom out, then exchange the calipers...

My Olds is the only car I have problems with them on, done tons before on other cars with no problems. Has to be the old castings of the calipers. Been rebuilt one too many times.

I remember reading of a similar problem in a brand x magazine and there was an issue with the washer thickness. If I remember correctly he found that he replacement washers were thinner than OEM and found thicker ones that cured the problem.

2 washers per side?? No offense, but I don't see how that would even start to seal. That's why every surface has rings cut into it. 2 washers up against each other I would think would leak worse.

Actually have tried thicker, and thinner washers. Even went as far as to anneal a set to get them a little more malleable. Convinced it's the surface of the calipers mounting surface now... what a pain in the ***...

Here's what the connections look like at the calipers. The copper washers are not sealing where I have circled.
