enough for disc conv
enough for disc conv
hey olds nation!!!!! i have a gentleman wanting to sell me the following parts for a disc brake conversion from a 69 442: a arms, spindles, rotors, powerbrake boster just like they were unbolteted from frame. do i need the a arms to convert. what about the backing plates and the caliper brackets. he is asking $200.00 thanks
Spindles
Caliper brackets
Calipers
Rotors
Brake hoses
Brake hose brackets on frame
Master cylinder
Proportioning valve
that is write all you need is the spindles caliper brackets calipers hose brackets proportioning valve and master cylinder that is what i paid for mine a few years ago.
i have disc brakes off of a 70 it had a one piston caliper instead of the 68 that had 2 piston calipers. actually i think i have another set from a 68 442 just the spindles rotors backing plates caliper brackets and just one caliper i don't have the prop. valve or master
i'll have to look

ya i found the 70 disc set up first then paid 400 for a 68 442 basket case that had the disc brakes. i forgot i had those sitting around. the guy i got the car from was a basket case as well. i'll have to tell that story some time.
