Unhappy Emergency brake Cable issue!

Okay it looks like I lost the Part that connects the front and the Rear part of the Emergency brake cable together-(tension part?). Everything else is there and in good working order. My brake light came on and went off when I lifted the Emergency pedal back up.The Emergency brake pedal now wants to go to the floor. I looked underneath the Car and saw the part was missing. I'm not sure exactly what this part looks like. I have 2 other cars(not Olds) and there all different parts. S.O.S.--- Thanks for the help everyone.the pic is here below.

I'm not sure.I think there would be more too it. The factory Olds book I have shows the whole set up but not details of the exact part (mechanism) that the front and rear hook too. I would think though that would be one of the parts I need and Thanks for posting.

Parking Brake

I think this is what you need - the black thing in lower left of photo to hook up your front cable to intermediate cable - 1 required. The piece mentioned in previous post is to hook intermediate cable to each rear (2 required). The intermediate cable goes in channel on this black thing and then you slide this onto threaded rod (end of front cable) and doublenut it.

I guess while I was typing everyone else posted and I duplicated everyone else. But One more thing - as far as buying one - sometimes can even get these at Napa, etc. but any of the repro parts houses will have them also - a couple bucks.
