Question Disc brakes: Front & Rear or either/or

Debating on benefits of front & rear disc brakes or better of the two for one of my cutlasses ('71) I look to upgrade wheels for as well. Same inquiry on the front & rear sways.

Any thoughts from experience out here

I have a 71 Cutlass...I got the front disc only and drums in the rear...car stops incredibly, i dnt feel the need to have discs all around.

Mine has front sway only but will eventually buy rear sway

I was thinking front & rear sways, definite now. And since you mentioned, just front disc may very well suffice!

master power has a set up with disk front and 11" rear drums have heard good things on it some of the rear end companies are doing the same thing instead of the high drag disk cheaper and you dont have to mess with the master cylinder or proportioning valve

Really all depends on what you want and how far you want to go. You could go all the way to 13 inch rotors and 4 pot calipers. Or just a mild update using parts off another car. Same goes for swaybars. In the end how do you want your car to look, brake, and handle. Only you can answer that question.
