Brake Pad Part Number

Hello all,

Can someone please tell me what the ACDelco part number is for the "organic" front disc friction pads for a 71 442?

No longer available from ACDelco. Either ceramic or semi-metallic.

Yes, I know. That's why I'm asking for the part number. I prefer the organic and would like to see if I can find a set or three.

Rock Auto's web site shows ACDELCO part numbers 17D52C for ceramic and 17D52M for semi metallic, so you may be able to decipher what the organic part number would be from those.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...brake+pad,1684

edit: The "Info" box for 17D52C shows this. Dunno if that second number is actually the OEM part number, though:

Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 17D52, 88909650

NAPA is showing a ultra premium organic for $50.00 part# up728a. Wow, how prices have changed. I did mine back in the late nineties all the way around, plus seals for the bearings for $30.00

So I had NAPA get in a set of these pads and they are not the same as the original organic pads. The guy got on the phone with his tech support. They said the pads are 20% metallic which is below whatever the standard is, so they can call the "Organic". I'm still looking for the original style organic pads, if anyone can help with the search please let me know.
