I'm wanting to buy a 9 inch cadmium colored booster for my wife's 67 442. The car has front disc . Does anyone know if the 67 Chevelle boosters are the same as the one for the 442 ? Also if not where can I buy the one I'm looking for?

I just got my 9" cadium colored one from "Year One" in the Oldsmobile section of their online catalogue. There are a few other parts places around which sell these, around the same price. Mine was originally an 11" booster, but due to the roller rockers I have, I needed to go with a smaller dia one.(my valve covers are way taller than stock) I also have front discs on my car.

 

I believe it's the same, there are a lot of parts that will interchange.

 

Ya, the booster I got was for a mid 60's Cutlass. I read in a post in here somewhere, that the mid 60's Olds boosters do work on a '70-'71 Cutlass as well. That news made me happy !
