So I have decided in replacing my front end bushing to stick with my front drum brakes for the time being instead of swapping over to disc's as money is tight. Does anyone have an article or a good process of adjusting the drum brakes correctly. As of right now I know they are way out of wack. My passenger side brake locks up way before my drivers. I want to go through and adjust all 4 drums as I plan on running those until I can save enought money for all 4 disc's. And links or advice. As alway thanks again for all the great information. I use a brake tool like this. I adjust the brakes until they lock up then back them off until they don't drag any more. I will keep turning the drum until it spins free but I can still hear the shoe barely touching the drum.

 

Eric is exactly right. You don't need a special tool. A flatbladed screw driver will do.

 

A screwdriver does work fine, the tool is a little easier IMHO, my dad gave me mine when I was 15 when I got my first car been using it ever since
