1967 cutlass brake hose upgrade issue

Hello Oldsmobile fanatics. I have done a front disk brake upgrade on my 1967 cutlass and Ive ran into an issue. I am using the 1971 cutlass setup. When I secure the rubber line to the bracket where it turns to the metal line and I turn the steering wheel so it stretches the rubber line, It seems like the rubber line is to short. Like it could snap. I was wondering if I have the right brake hose. Is there a longer one I could use? Or do I have to remount the support bracket and make the metal line longer

I'm guessing you're doing this with the car jacked up and the suspension hanging down with no load, right? With the car at ride height you won't have this problem.
