1947 master cylinder
Has anyone ever rebuilt a vintage master cylinder? I have mine out because it had sat for years and was bone dry inside and needed to be cleaned out. I see two different size holes inside the tank but only one goes right through. The piston and spring and rubber cup all came out fine and bore looks clean. I just wonder about the smaller second hole. Should it go through too. The 1942 service manual calls it a compensating port but I can't tell if it should go right through. Thanks

I have the Master Cylinder kit complete -- or the Master Cylinder ++ BRAND NEW ++ with NO CORE REQUIRED!!!!! Also, have the wheel cylinders, brake hoses, brake shoes, and wheel bearings & seals, and get this -- BRAND NEW Front HUB & DRUMS --and BRAND NEW Rear BRAKE DRUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best to have a USA shipping address to get it across the border more economically, eh?

No moose accidents yet. I was able to get rebuild kits and hoses from my local supplier and everything is done and bleed and working fine. With the exchange rate and shipping costs i have to shop locally if possible. Even got a park brake cable off ebay and it's finished. On to wiring now. Thanks.
