Question Trunk Pan kit.

Hi guys. Getting ready to start the body work on my 68-442. I have to install a compete Trunk pan. Ok they make the part, but I'm lost the prices seem to be all over the place. From 575.00 to 350.00 for a 7 piece kit. Now I'm old school, and believe you get what you pay for. But don't want to rip myself off. What are you guys using? Thanks.

Just about all of these kits are stamped by the same one or two factories in China, so shop by price. You are correct that prices for repro Chinesium patch panels are all over the map. You should note that ever repro vendor sells EXACTLY the same patch panels, so they must be getting them all from the same place. The rest is profit.

I can't recall, but I think I bought the 7-piece kit from MuscleCarMetal. My braces were good so I didn't use them.

Old trunk pan cut out.
