Correct Hood for 71 cutlass supreme
If you're talking about the pierced vents by the cowl trim? All 1971 (except OAI) had those piercings. It wasn't till 1972 that AC A body Olds had the distinction of pierced/non pierced for non AC/AC
You're welcome. If you're doing a concourse resto the information is also available in the 1971 Cutlass Assembly Manual. If you just need to have a decent hood, don't worry about the piercing issues. You could also install one of the hoods with the 'faux louvers' that came standard on the Cutlass S. They have a nice look, and you can customize the color of the faux louver area to whatever suits your likes. From the factory, the inset areas of the faux louvers matched the body color, and the raised areas where bright chrome.
