77 Cutlass Quarter Panel Patch

Quick question for the body repair experts. I need to repair the quarter panels just around my rear wheels and I have very limited bodywork experience. Due to my lack of experience, I would prefer to avoid bending, hammering, or shaping my own panels... they would not look pretty. So I was looking at entire quarter panels but they can get pretty expensive and I only need the section around the wheel well. Would it be possible to get something more like this?

I could not find a panel like this for my car. Also, I would even be willing to purchase a panel designed for another car if the curves were close enough so I could modify it slightly.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Kyle,
Thanks but actually I already checked that out. I'm trying to avoid paying over $300 for sheet metal... especially on a highschooler's budget

I dont think they sell a patch panel for them. Best bet is to find a salvage yard car with no rust...if that's even possible. Research what other model/years quarter panels fit that car.

455man - what I'm really not sure about is how to figure out what other model/years quarter panels would fit. Who should I call or where should I look to figure this out?
Thanks

I looked at OPGI's website for 77 Cutlass quarter panels and it says
’76-77 Brougham, Salon and Supreme

Maybe check a few other places for quarter panels and see if any other models/years pop up.

Also there might be someone on here that would be willing to cut you out some metal on one of their parts cars.

Would these work:

They are listed as for a '77 cutlass. I'm assuming they would work on a 442 as well, right? I like their price a little better

It looks like they will. I think in 77 the 442 was just an appearance and/or handling package on the Cutlass. So it should be the same. I've used C2C before for floor pans. The front pan was a good fit(Taiwan). The back pan had to be modified some(USA). But they are cheaper priced.

Okay, If I can't find a good parts car, I'll go with the c2c ones. Thanks!
