Questions about small unibody frame repair - olds f85

Let me preface this with the rest of the underbody looks good including the areas around this. How afraid of this should I be? This is in front of the rear wheel. It's about 8" long of rot on the subframe itself at the bottom of it. First photo is area in question. Other photos to show rest of car. My question mostly concerns how structural this area is compared to the front subframe. This is the part in front of the rear wheel, guessing under the seat area on the driver's side. I have yet to see the car in person, these are photos the guy sent me so I can see how bad any rust is.

What year and model is this? Rot is always worse than it looks, unless this is a super rare car or you have great skills and desires its better to move on...

You're probably right. 61 F85 2 door.
