couple questions on trying to fix/find parts to fix the rust around my 72 cutlass S windshield.

I'm assuming that this is between the dash and the cowl

Next question, do chevelle a pillars work?

The car needs a roof skin, and it looks like that includes the top of the ws frame. what is the piece of structure called that doubles the roof skin along the top of the ws opening.

Has anyone used dynacorn parts before? they are selling a complete chevelle body so I was hoping that many of the parts I need are the same.

 

The part you show will not work on a cutlass. No one is making the upper dash piece for cutlass's. The A pillar on a chevelle will work for you. Chevelle roof skin is different. But if you only need the front edge that portion is the same, you could use only what you need?? I do believe they make a repro cutlass roof skin however.

 

I have a pretty nice lower front windshield channel from a '72 Cutlass S. It has some surface rust & a couple pin holes but it is a lot less expensive than the incorrect repro pieces. I might have a good roof skin also but will have to check.

 

I'll be cutting the roof off soon, and getting the shell media blasted. I will pm you with a list of parts if thats ok
