Urgent !!! 57 Hood

My 57 Olds had a kind of an "accident". The hood flipped up while driving and now it is just a piece of junk.
The 57 bodies have different sizes ( 88 , S 88, 98 ). Are all the hoods the same, or do they vary, depending on the model ????????

The hoods are the same but it's the trunks that are different...the 98 quarter panels are about 6 inches longer, thus the trunk lids are longer...

Okay, cool ! So I can take any 57 Olds hood !!??
I know about the deck lids, the 98s don´t even have those edges.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your info. I found that hood on ebay already and "shot" it !
I hope it will arrive okay.
The price of the hood is okay so far, but the freight.........

Both fenders have little paint chips on top, but that´s it, thank god !!

That "accident" doesn´t happen to me !!, but to the owner of the body shop while a test drive, so he can put all the costs to his asurance company.
