I am in the process of having my car repainted soon was wondering if removing the vinyl top would hurt the value or would it be better to paint satin black my car was originally silver green with black top just not sure of reinstalling the vinyl because of rust in the future

 

Paint the top a different colour and keep the trim (moulding).

 

Do you think a satin black would be good or what would you do with the silver green

 

My personal opinion I think they look better without a top. It's your car. Do what makes you happy and forget about the auction prices. Are you going with original color? I will say that I do love two tone paint cars.

It's nice to have a black interior. You can go with damn near any color. Not sure where you live but an all black car would be a hot some bitch in the summer. There are so many good colors to go with. I love the maroon. White also. The turquoise... Ha ha ha. Let me confuse you some more. I am sure you will go with what You like. Make it Yours. I love the stripes on the hurst was thinking if I got rid of vinyl I’d have some stripes like the hurst with the factory silver green and black stripes
