Does anyone know what is a good adhesive or caulk to use to reseal/hold in place the lenses on the 70-72 marker light assemblies? I've pried out the old lenses, cleand/polished them, buffed out the housings and cleaned out the channels - it looks like it was some kind of strip caulking that was used. Anyone else tried this, and was it worth doing vs. buying the repros?

I used old fashioned clear silicone between the lens and the bezel and strip caulk between the bezel and the sheet metal. 20 years later, still looks good.

 

I used silicone on mine too no issues only 6 mo so far tho
