sheet metal around rear of trunk

I don't know what this part is called and I haven't seen it on the repro sites. I'm sure I don't know what I'm looking at however. It's the sheet metal lip around the rear of the trunk where the trunk latch is located. It is rusted out and needs replaced. On the sites I've looked at, I can't even find the rear sheet metal that houses the tail lights either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you are talking about the trunk gutter where the weatherstrip sits, no one repros these parts for an Olds. BeldenSpeed has just released some generic straight sections of trunk gutter, but no a repro panel.

You've got to be kidding. That's exactly the metal I need. I would think that the rear sheet metal would be a common replacement part, considering the occasional accident of getting rear-ended, dropping something heavy on it while loading the trunk, etc. I guess I could have the guys at my work fab some something up for me. What would you do if you really did get rear ended?

That is a difficult piece to create a stamping die for, and there apparently isn't enough of a market for a company to invest in that. Right now the best you can do is to find a good used patch from a donor car. I have to be honest, I'm far more surprised when a repro part for these cars IS available than when it is not.
