I give up. Help needed FAST.
I have a job this summer at a camp. I have to bring my olds there (only car I have) and it doesn't have window or sunroof seals I've searched for months online and have turned up nothing. Either I don't know what these are called or gremlins are keeping me from seeing them.
If you guys can point me to a website I can buy everything I need to seal up my windows and my sunroof (1978 98 regency coupe) that would be much appreciated. I need the seals before June 10th.
Thanks for the help guys.

Alright I might have found something: Beltline weather strip. Is that what I'm looking for?
I went through 50 pages of search results before I found this
Pre Assembled Beltline Weatherstrip
These side window horizontal seals typically come ready to install with finished ends and body curvature bends for a factory like appearance. They may be available in your vehicle in two quality levels, Standard and Original. Standard Windowfelt Kits are made from standard aftermaket material. The Original Windowfelt is constructed from limited production material which may be a closer match to the vehicle's original appearance. These sets include the inner and outer seals for all side windows unless noted. Two (2) or four (4) piece sets without inner or outer indication are always outer seals only.
oh, and whats a cowl?
and what about the upper part of the window?

Also call Steele Rubber Products. Their website can be found at: http://www.steelerubber.com/?section=3
As was said above, try the usual vendors such as Year One,OPGI, Fusick (though I believe they stop at 1977 models and not sure about Regency models), Parts Place, etc.
Good luck.

The cowl is the area between the firewall and the windshield. The cowl seal goes against the hood to keep engine fumes from being drawn into the heater / AC.
If your doors are frameless, then "roof rail" weatherstrip / seals are what you are looking for.
The beltline weatherstrip in the picture is also called a window felt.
Some good sources are listed here already. Hope you find them!

Mine are in rough shape as well. Do you have to remove the windows and door panels to install these?

Korey:
I would suggest calling Steele Rubber and talking with them as to your needs. They were extremely helpful to me when I redid the Silver Bullet awhile back. Initially, product didn't line up, they paid for shipment back to them/along w/my old ones, matched, and sent back to me for the original cost only. Fantastic folks to work with!!!!

Alright guys! Thanks. I'll try that and get back to you. Still looking at the other companies-havent gotten around to some of them, the end of the school year is really busy. I really hope steele rubber is open on sundays but I aint got my hopes up...
Well its not.
Also, nobody has anything on the 78 sunroof. I'm pretty sure the same sunroof was used on all models for that year, so it shouldn't be an issue if its a "cutlass" sunroof. ARRRGGh this is so frustrating!

Actually I may have a match from Classic Olds. At least an exterior seal. I think. I'm going to send him a piece of my old seal and see what happens.
Today or tomorrow I'm going to pull the sunroof out and look at whatever seals are left. I'm also going to check the drain tubes to make sure they are clear of debris.

Well I found out why only part of my exterior seal is left: That's all there was in the first place. I have a class C sunroof, meaning it had a rubber seal at the rear and felt shims along the rest of the exterior of the sunroof. That's what I need to find. I also found out that the rubber piece I am looking for is most likely in the sunroof housing, and my leaks are due to the fact that the weatherstripping that kept the water flowing to the drain tubes is worn away.
As of yet I don't know where my passenger rear drain tube is. I'm going to look for it when I rip the carpeting out of my back end. I might have to take out my auxiliary fuel tank to find it.
