Martin- I think this is called either a filler shield or a stone shield. It's used on all 1967 88 and 98. This part will be either a new old stock or good used part as it is not reproduced.

Here's original part numbers to search for NOS.

Group 7.833, part number 397016 (right side) 397017 (left side), filler, shield, 1967 except F85 or Toronado (means used on 88 and 98)

Group 7.833, part number 394574 (right) 394575 (left), shield, stone, 1967 except F85 or Toronado.

Fusick www.fusick.com sometimes has new old stock parts like this. Doesn't hurt to ask them and I think they would e-mail you pictures to make sure you're getting the right part. They're a good source for reproduction Oldsmobile parts and they ship worldwide.

Good luck. I know you European guys go thru much worse than we do finding old American car parts, and it can be frustrating here in the US.

Yes, that's certainly original. I also had one as a spare part. Now I need it for the other side too

Hello,

Fusick I have already written. Unfortunately, they do not have the part.
Yes, it is not always easy to get parts to Germany.
But, we are looking for Germans until we find something ....
