ON MY 1962 STARFIRE HOW IS THE TOP AND SIDE STAINLESS MOLDING HELD IN ? BY CLIPS OR THE RUBBER SEAL I SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW.
ANY HELP?

 

I don't have ANY experience with a Starfire but I can tell you if you pull up in the window side of the trim a little bit you should be able to see clips with a flashlight. Just put a few fingers on the glass and pull them into the trim and lift it a little bit, it won't hurt the trim. If it does have the clips you can get the trim removal tool at any parts store for under $10. Hope this helps

 

If you are working on a Htp. which it must be 'cause Conv's. don't have Rr. window trim, U need a tool to get at the clips. If U aren't experienced and your Paint is nice get someone who has some idea of how to hold the tool to get the clips to release the Mldgs. or your Paint will get damaged...
These tools are available at most auto parts stores ie; NAPA, Pepboys Summit etc. Very reasonably priced @ $10-$15
