Filler suggestions
#5
I do some pretty nice custom work, and paint and I've never been too fussy about what type of filler I use. As long as the work under it is good (solid welds, dents worked out to less than 1/4") any quality filler will work. Stay away from real cheap stuff. I like lightweight filler, as it's easier to sand. I even use my autobody supply's store brand.
Once you get down to the filler work being almost perfect, THEN you can do any final fixing with Evercoat Glaze, or Icing. It's meant for less than 1/16", so only pinholes, minor scratches, or low spots.
