Body plug sealant

Can anybody recommend a brand or type of sealant that is comparable to the OEM stuff. Car is a 70 442 and the original oval big plugs on the floor and in the trunk had a green light weight, flexible, rubbery material. Its not like dum dum or a seam sealer. I have some of the original material I will get a pic of. I just cant seem to find a comparable material in any auto body supply.

I could not find an exact replacement material so I added some green dye to white seam sealer and used that on mine.

That seems like a good idea and I may have to do something like that but even the flexible seam sealer would be a lot different. There has to be something out there. I'm thinking something from a caulking tube?

Interesting you said that. I did not want to brush on the sealer. I wanted to squeeze out a bead and press the plugs in so they would look kinda like factory with a bit of squeeze out. I took some white sealer and and added the dye to tint it. Took a zip lock bag and put the sealer in the bag. Zipped it close and cut the corner off the bag and squeezed out a bead. Just like chefs do icing on a cake. Worked fine for me. Maybe someone else knows the actual right product but I made do with what I had.

Look at Lord-Fusor or Kent catalyzed seam sealer, iirc one of them had a product that was green tinted when it cured.

Warning - price may cause rectal bleeding.

i used sem sealer in a caulk gun, left it off white.just run a bead, set the oval and put a weight on it. and the plugs go with the raised part up not down it the hole.
