Billet Hood Hinge Question
I have a quick question. I have a 1970 Olds 442 with a reproduction all-fiberglass OAI hood. I plan on replacing the hood with a metal-framed fiberglass reproduction OAI hood in the future. I currently have what I believe to be stock hood hinges that work well, but I really like the billet hinges that I’m seeing on sites like Summit Racing. I know they are a lot of $$, but I like the way they look.
I was wondering, will any 1969 – 1972 “A-Body” hinge fit my442, like perhaps hinges for a Chevelle, LeMans, El Camino, etc…? I can’t find billet hinges for an Olds anywhere but as usual, the Chevy/Pontiac hinges seem to be a dime-a-dozen.
