anyone use fuzor panel adhesive?
looking at no weld panel adhesives to put my new half quarter panel on my 63 88. never used them before but don't have the best welder so I figure on trying this. people say it is good but how do you clamp the overlap in the middle of the panel? or do you just hold it for a few mins?

Lord-Fuzor makes good products, the panel bonders you are working with come in different cure times. You should probabbly be using one that gives appx 2 hours just in case you run into trouble.
Usually clamped w/ very long vise grips w/ paint stick "bridges" to spread load, Tek screws or rivets would work as posted previously. The important thing is that you have sufficient material in an unbroken bead w/ no gaps, try not to smear it out of joint positioning panel and dont clamp it too tight - don't want to squeeze it all out of the seam. Always nice to have to have a helper when setting a panel of some size.

So, did you use the panel adhesive? This thread is almost 2 years old now. I was going to suggest renting a welder instead. You wouldn't want to use so much bondo to cover up a seam where two panels are joined together.
