Does anyone have instructions or guidelines on installing the grille and stone shield on a 1972 cutlass supreme?

 

Mount headlight buckets first.
Mount grilles to stone shield - two hex head course thread bolts along the bottom of each grille.
Mount stone shield/grille assembly to top plate of core support. A helper is a good idea here. Normally sheet metal screws going into speed nut clips on the grilles and the stone shield.
Attach grilles to the side support brackets. More sheet metal screws.
Mount bumper.

 

The grills mount into the stone shield by sliding the grills down into the slot on the inside edge of the stone shield. Have a look at the grills, you'll see a small tab that sticks out to fit into that slot in the top of the stone shield. After that's in place, it's just a careful pressure fit of the grill tabs into the back of the stone shield, then secure with mounting bolts. Do you not have the 1972 Cutlass Assembly manual? It's really inexpensive and has exploded view diagrams of what you're trying to accomplish.
