72 Cutlass Covertible window issues

Guys, I had a new top put on over the weekend. I am having a HORRIBLE time trying to adjust the rear windows.I have the Body/Chassis manuals, but they are too vague. Can someone please walk me through what I should loosen to adjust the rear windows. I am pulling my hair out. It wont quite meet the top in the corner and then, I can't get it to adjust properly to the front glass. The front door glass is flush at the front post and the roof. I just can't figure out how to adjust the rear windows properly.
I really need some detailed help.

Thanks again

The only thing I can suggest is to let your mind float when you are sitting on the car floor looking at the two windows and try to imagine what the adjusters do it's an abstract thing and very hard to describe what to do first...and then there must be a step by step somewhere which I have not found yet, but my windows work after doing at least four '68 Cutlii patience Grasshopper...

Did the windows fit okay before the top was put on? It could be the top that needs adjusting if so.

There are two upper stops with adjustment bolts. See in this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robsalb...7602930020786/
It sounds as if the rear stop needs to be raised some to align with the front glass. (The recessed one at the upper left of the picture.)
The one in the middle under the black sealant blob might need tweaking, too - it controls the total up travel.

As mentioned above, a good studying with a mechanical mind helps most. The body manual is not as helpful as is should be...
